SOUL Food — Skills, Opportunity, Upliftment, and Learning for Migrant Women through Food — is an Erasmus+ project (KA220-ADU, Cooperation Partnerships in Adult Education) that has worked to support the social and professional integration of migrant women through culinary education, digital skills development, and active community participation. The project brought together six European partners specialised in adult education and social innovation, combining modular learning pathways, intercultural events, and digital tools to break down linguistic and cultural barriers, and to foster inclusion, diversity, and empowerment at every stage.
After months of joint work between the partners and training with the participants, the SOUL Food journey comes to a close in Zaragoza! On 24 and 25 June, project partners gathered in the city for the final Transnational Project Meeting, a gathering dedicated to reflecting on the journey, celebrating the results achieved, and reconnecting with some of the women who took part in the training.
A special moment was our visit to Molarepa, a Venezuelan restaurant owned by one of the participants, where we shared food, stories and culture around the same table.
