KA210-YOU

Promoting smart and sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship among young people

The project aims at developing the entrepreneurial skills of young people (18-30 years old) and improving their knowledge about business opportunities in the agricultural sector by applying for EU funding for this sector. For this reason, the main objective is represented by:

TG1: Young farmers at risk of exclusion because of their socio-cultural background, or because they come from rural areas and need help to improve their skills to better take advantage of EU funding opportunities.

TG2: Young people with an entrepreneurial spirit who want to learn more about the new challenges and opportunities in the agricultural sector, who want to acquire new knowledge or who want to participate in the new EU funding opportunity for the same area.

THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT ARE:

1 – Promote agriculture and innovative solutions and opportunities that are strategic for the sustainable growth of our planet, with a special focus on rural development and sustainable agriculture;

2 – To foster young people’s sense of initiative and entrepreneurship by making the agricultural sector a real and attractive job opportunity, promoting the acquisition of relevant entrepreneurial skills and competences.

3 – Promote a better understanding of the situation of young people and of youth policies and funding in Europe to start new businesses, focusing on CAP funds.

The partnership is composed of Spain, Romania and Cyprus.
