Inspiration, connection, and collaboration at the Besis Forum 2026

On Tuesday, May 26th, we had the pleasure of hosting the BESIS Forum 2026 at Mobility City Zaragoza, a day that exceeded all our expectations. For us, the event was much more than a meeting: it became a space for connection, inspiration, and collaboration among organisations, professionals, and individuals committed to transforming the results of European and international projects into new opportunities for the future.

Throughout the day, we shared key ideas on project sustainability, results capitalisation, international cooperation, and the creation of partnerships with real impact. There was also time to debate, hear different perspectives, build connections, and spark conversations that, we are sure, will continue to grow beyond this day.

We would like to sincerely thank everyone who joined us in person at Mobility City, as well as those who participated online, taking part in this experience from a distance. Thank you for your presence, contributions, energy, and trust.

The purpose of the BESIS network is clear: to be a permanent meeting point for organisations and professionals across Europe interested in capitalising the results of European and international projects, fostering innovation in transnational cooperation, and creating synergies that generate lasting impact. The network aims to facilitate collaboration, exchange of good practices, and access to funding opportunities, supporting each member in maximising the value of their initiatives and strengthening their long-term sustainability.

The BESIS Forum was born not only as a meeting point, but also as a living, open network with a strong vision for the future. Because when ideas are shared, projects do not simply end: they evolve, connect, and become something that lasts.

We leave inspired and motivated, knowing that this is only the beginning of a journey that will continue to create impact, opportunities, and valuable connections.

GEINNOVA celebrates the European recognition of the SHE@CYBER project as “Best Practices”

At GEINNOVA, we are proud to share great news. Our European project SHE@CYBER has been officially recognised as “Best Practices” by the European Commission and the Cyprus National Agency, a distinction that highlights the quality, impact, and relevance of this initiative in the field of cybersecurity.

This recognition follows the project’s final evaluation, in which SHE@CYBER achieved an outstanding score of 90 out of 100, demonstrating not only the successful achievement of its objectives but also its ability to go beyond expectations. This seal of excellence reinforces our commitment to building a safer, more inclusive digital environment.

Co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, SHE@CYBER aims to reduce the gender gap in cybersecurity by empowering women and underrepresented groups with essential digital and technical skills. Through specialised training, innovative resources, and practical tools, the project has contributed to improving participants’ employability and access to opportunities in a rapidly growing sector.

In addition, the project has actively supported small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing practical solutions to address current cybersecurity challenges, helping them strengthen their digital resilience and preparedness.

The results speak for themselves: SHE@CYBER not only met its initial targets but exceeded them, training more professionals than originally planned and significantly expanding its impact. This success has also been recognised at European level, with the project being selected as a finalist in the European Digital Skills Awards 2025.

Throughout its implementation, SHE@CYBER has developed a wide range of training materials, capacity-building programmes, and digital tools designed for both educators and professionals, always with a practical and market-oriented approach.

At GEINNOVA, we believe that when projects are driven by passion and purpose, meaningful impact and recognition naturally follow. Being acknowledged as “Best Practices” motivates us to continue promoting innovation, inclusion, and positive change in every step we take.

We remain committed to building a digital world where talent knows no barriers and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Geinnova will promote training in human resources management for local governments in Castilla-La Mancha

At Geinnova, we continue advancing our mission to strengthen the capabilities of the public sector. On this occasion, we are joining the continuous training plan of the Federación de Municipios y Provincias de Castilla-La Mancha, where we will deliver a training course focused on improving people management and work organization within local administrations.

This collaboration represents another step in our commitment to developing public sector talent, especially in rural contexts and small municipalities, where teams are often small and multifunctional, and where effective management makes a significant difference in the quality of services provided to citizens.

A key training for strengthening local administrations

The training course, titled “People Management and Work Organization for an Effective Local Administration”, will be delivered online from May 11 to May 29, 2026. It will have a duration of 30 hours and is expected to involve 100 professionals from local administrations across Castilla-La Mancha.

Our objective is clear: to support municipal teams in developing practical skills that enable them to manage people more effectively, optimize their daily work, and deliver more efficient and citizen-oriented public services.

A practical approach tailored to local realities

At Geinnova, we have designed this programme with a highly practical orientation, focused on the real needs of municipalities. Through this training, we aim to help participants:

  • Effectively manage small and diverse teams
  • Improve time management and work processes
  • Motivate and engage people in resource-constrained environments
  • Foster an organizational culture based on responsibility, collaboration, and public service

Content designed to create real impact

The course is structured into five modules that comprehensively address the main challenges of local public management:

  • People management in local administration, with a focus on small municipalities
  • Self-leadership and personal development, as the foundation for effective management
  • Professional relationships and communication, including tools for conflict resolution
  • Team management, focusing on coordination, motivation, and workplace climate
  • Work organization, addressing planning, efficiency, and innovation

Our commitment: improving public services through people

At Geinnova, we firmly believe that an effective local administration starts with the people who make it possible. That is why we are committed to delivering training that not only provides knowledge but also drives real change in how public professionals work, collaborate, and lead.

The registration period will remain open until April 30, 2026. We are confident that this training initiative will contribute to building more prepared, human-centered, and innovative local administrations.

Training in marketing and social media for public administrations

On one hand, we are launching a course on marketing and social media for public administrations, designed to improve institutional communication in digital environments.

Through this programme, participants will develop the skills needed to professionally manage social media, increase the visibility of their municipalities, and strengthen relationships with citizens through more transparent, accessible, and effective communication.

New training in people management and work organization

In addition, we are introducing the course “People Management and Work Organization for an Effective Local Administration”, focused on one of the main challenges faced by municipalities: managing teams in resource-constrained environments.

This course covers essential topics such as leadership, communication, staff motivation, and efficient work organization, providing practical tools specifically tailored to the reality of small municipalities.

Its main objectives include:

  • Improving the management of small and multifunctional teams
  • Optimizing work organization and municipal processes
  • Enhancing staff motivation and engagement
  • Promoting an organizational culture focused on public service

A commitment to more effective and citizen-centered administrations

With these two new training actions, at Geinnova we reinforce our commitment to supporting local administrations through tailored, high-impact learning solutions.

Our goal is to contribute to more effective, innovative, and citizen-oriented public administrations by combining digital skill development with the strengthening of human capital.

Cooking for inclusion: how SOULFood brings people together

Social inclusion, women’s empowerment and cultural exchange lie at the heart of SOULFood, the project presented by GEinnova. Its main objective is to foster inclusion and improve access to adult education through open cooking workshops, breaking down cultural differences and language barriers to build a strong and connected community.

On 6 March, GEinnova hosted the presentation of the new online course and its training modules at its offices. The programme focuses on civic and democratic participation, equality, and access to opportunities within society. Education plays a key role in personal empowerment: during the event, a Colombian and a Peruvian woman shared their inspiring experiences, highlighting how education enabled them to overcome social and family barriers and reach positions of leadership and professional success. SOULFood offers a welcoming space for dialogue and exchange, promoting alternative pathways towards independence and achievement.

The first cooking workshop took place on 9 March at the Joaquín Roncal Centre, featuring a Colombian cuisine session led by Ana. Participants prepared sancocho, a traditional dish consisting of a slow-cooked soup with chicken, beef, plantains, potatoes and corn, accompanied by rice, sofrito (lightly sautéed tomatoes and leek), coriander and lime. Participation was at the core of the experience, encouraging collaboration, learning and cultural exchange. Through Ana’s guidance, participants deepened their understanding of Colombian culture, while also learning about her social kindergarten initiative in Zaragoza.

The next cooking sessions will take place on 16 and 23 March at the Joaquín Roncal Centre. New participants are warmly invited to join and discover Venezuelan and Italian culinary traditions. Civic and democratic participation can start with something as simple—and powerful—as learning together.
