R.E.Mind Project

KA220-VET

Strengthening the entrepreneurial mindset in the social economy

The REMIND project meets the priorities set by EU policy drivers such as ET2020, “Entrepreneurship in the EU and beyond”, “Fostering entrepreneurial mindsets through education and learning”, “Small Business Act for Europe”. At European level, lifelong learning objectives and priorities are underlined within key strategies and initiatives, such as the ET 2020 Strategic Framework and the Renewed European Agenda for VET Learning. REMIND takes into account the challenges of the “new normal” and aims to guide VET learners towards a successful entry into the world of work.

R.E.Mind addresses the needs of two main groups:

1) Vocational education and training students (15-19 years old).

2) Teachers/educators from partner countries.

THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT ARE:

1 – The RE.Mind project will help students acquire the knowledge, skills and tools to recognise entrepreneurship as a “process” rather than an “end point”. It therefore aims to define a solution to develop a conceptual shift from thinking of entrepreneurship as “how to run a business” to “how to develop a broad set of competences” applicable in all areas of life.

2 – The project has the ambition to transfer this new concept of entrepreneurship to school curricula by supporting teachers and educators in applying appropriate methods to identify, analyse and develop entrepreneurial skills in VET students.

3 – The project focuses on achieving the right mix of theoretical and practical components and removing the barriers between the worlds of business and education.

The partnership is composed of Norway, Spain, Austria, Greece, Italy and France.

e-ENTREPRENEUR Project

KA220-ADU

Training Digital entrepreneurs leading e-business

The lock-in and telecommuting imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic was an unexpected reality check for organisations of all sizes, and many companies went out of business or experienced survival problems. Organisations had to chart a new course for their business towards cloud computing and digital transformation, with the global health crisis serving as a driver to establish the value and flexibility of cloud computing.

With this in mind, the e-ENTREPRENEUR project is born with the main objective of training current and future e-entrepreneurs to incorporate e-business and cloud solutions into their own practices to achieve the common European goal of developing smart and inclusive growth based on knowledge and innovation and reaping the benefits of a digital single market.

The specific objectives of this project are:

1 – Broaden the dissemination and awareness of the use of cloud-based software among at least 1000 current or potential entrepreneurs, especially young people and women, in the partner countries and at European level, in order to foster the creation of new start-ups and increase the competitiveness of companies through the elaboration and dissemination of a creative handbook for digital entrepreneurs.

2 – Enrich partners’ training offers and increase the quality of adult education by developing innovative blended curricula and educational materials that respond to their needs in the field of digital entrepreneurship and help to integrate e-business.

3 – Increase the key competence in digital entrepreneurship of at least 50 entrepreneurs from vulnerable groups and at least 50 entrepreneurs through the provision of training in all partner countries.

4 – Strengthen partners’ capacities to introduce digitisation in education by implementing a common learning management system, developing and implementing e-learning courses and digital materials and improving peer-to-peer collaboration and self-assessment.

5 – Improve communication, exchange and flourishing of good practices between partners through active involvement of staff in all project activities.

Implementation:

The project will address these needs by developing and delivering blended learning sessions on cloud and open source software for business integration, expanding and developing digital skills, thus expanding the provision of high quality adult learning opportunities to improve their employment opportunities.

The countries involved in the e-ENTREPRENEUR project are Spain, Romania, Cyprus and France.

RURAL JUMP-START Project

Erasmus+ KA220

Promote entrepreneurship in the agro-industry sector in rural areas with a focus on crafts and local products.

As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads worldwide, the introduction of social distancing, national containments and tiered systems at national and local levels since March 2020 has hampered almost all economic activity in European countries, especially in rural areas and the countryside where the economy was already at risk.

THE SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT ARE:

  1. To strengthen the territory by increasing the dissemination of local products (both artisanal and gastronomic) in order to make them known at local and regional level, increasing productivity in rural areas.
  2. To promote sustainable tourism both by improving the Km0 market and the energy efficiency of businesses and by reducing waste development, thus attracting more and more responsible and conscientious tourists to the country.
  3. Create and strengthen a network of cooperation between local entrepreneurs, hotel owners, museums, local producers, artisans whose work can be complementary (website, marketing, handicrafts, food processing, etc.) giving them the opportunity to get to know each other better both locally and by tourists.
  4. Build a social environment in which adults, youth and migrants can feel integrated to avoid migration of villagers to larger cities.
  5. Promote entrepreneurship in rural areas through integrated digital training and the development of innovative pedagogical tools.
  6. It is necessary to equip participants who have invested or are interested in investing in rural areas with the necessary e-skills, management, financing, distribution and communication skills, thus contributing to the sustainable development of rural areas.
